Despite the movie was inspired by a true event but it was poorly written and badly executed. A newly married couple who were madly in love with each other caught in an accident in snowy Chicago and the wife woke up and lost her memory for the recent past 1 1/2 year especially their relationship. Paige ( Rachel McAdams) trying to get to know her husband Joe (Channing Tatum) once again - from a stranger to lover. Sounds tragic and dramatic but romance sells in most Hollywood films with the exceptional of this one where the subplot were too busy with other not so related developments that have prolonged and dulled the audiences. The Vow made by every married couple is a promise, the idea was cute but need more substance. At least Tatum's physical appeal still win many people's heart and that will keep the production house to cast him for much more prince charming and appealing roles.
